Must see · Landmark · Tourist Spot
Surrounded by colorful buildings and verandas, Plaza Santo Domingo serves as a hub for the city's outdoor dining and cafe culture. Head for the square and marvel at the brightly hued homes surrounding it, or snap a picture with the delightfully chubby Botero statue in the center. Don't miss stopping in at the 16th-century church, one of the city's most famous landmarks. You can wander the square's many stalls selling local arts, crafts, and souvenirs, or grab something to eat at the numerous outdoor restaurant tables. Afterwards, kick back with a coffee or a drink and enjoy the plaza's bustling activity.
