  • Busy touristic beach during the day , nice place to hang out during the evening. Very mainstream touristic , Colombian familys . Wouldn’t swim during the day as too crowded . Just go to the closest beach down south (10 min walk ), it will be less packed . A few pushy street sellers around too
  • The beach is in a peaceful part of the sea that has very less waves compared to the other beaches. As much as the water is peaceful, the shore is not. There is hardly a moment of quiet when you are at the beach. There are people selling different types of things from cocktails to massages. The beach has its own charm and can get over crowded most of the days. I literally counted 4 bathrooms in ten entire stretch. A bit more focus on sanitation would help. There always is a party happening somewhere or the other place in the beach. Hence, if you look for a quiet beach, then this not it. However, if you are looking for a party beach, this definitely is much better than the one in santa marta.
