Soar over the treetops in a cable car as you make your way to Parque Arvi, a hillside nature reserve looking out over Medellin. This pristine area offers you a chance to appreciate colorful butterflies and wildflowers while walking along one of many hiking paths. Make the 1.5-hour trek to the park's lagoon, or stop for a picnic on the banks of a bubbling creek. You can join a guided tour to gain access to otherwise restricted areas of the park, although your guide will likely only speak Spanish. Plan a Medellin trip in moments using our itinerary builder.

Just stunning views and hiking trails. Not very stroller friendly but manageable. The waterfalls and picnic areas are amazing. Remember to breathe in all that fresh air. Like other places, 1000 pesos for the washrooms here as well so bring cash. The little cafe and shops are incredible.

One of the best places to visit in Medellin, even if you don't go round the park itself it is worth just taking the cable car ride up there to see the amazing views along the way. The park is free to enter however you can lay $40,000COP if you want to hike round yourself. Worth doing as it is generally a nice gentle walk though the forest with little bits of information on the way explaining what the park is all about and how keeping the forest there does for us. Probably a good hours hike. Good place to bring children as well as there is plenty to do.
