We visited Barrigona beach whilst staying near by, and what a beach it is! Hardly anyone around, beautiful white sand and warm sea water! Breathtaking!

Superb! Short fun ride, undeveloped, wild, beautiful, no crowds. Good swell, nice surf, trees shading from the sun when you need. Iguanas and marine mammals are a nice bonus.

Playa Barrigona is beautiful! Very secluded, clear blue water and white sandy beaches. Some people are saying that 4 wheel drive is necessary but we rode our bikes there from Sàmara. Now, it wasn’t easy in the heat of the day but the ride back when the sun was going down was lovely. I was able to do it 5 months pregnant! When you get to the beach a nice Tico sells coconut water and pina coladas.
