  • Beautiful old structure. You can feel the spirit of the church. It was closed for renovations we did not get to do a tour. Great spot for photos.

  • One of my Dreams was fulfilled the day I visited the St. George's Cathedral. De Beauty of it up close was mind blowing. I could not wait to capture this Iconic Wonder' it's very true when they say, a photo can speak a thousand words, and I have the proofs of it all. It's one of the Tallest Wooden Buildings in the World, and a much loved landmark in the Guyanese Capital of Georgetown. And anyone who has an eye for History can look into the window of it's Colonial Past. It's 143 ft. in height and is the seat of the Bishop of Guyana. It was built between the years 1889-1894, and it was designed by Arthur Blomfield and opened on the 24th of August 1892. The building was completed in the year 1899. It's designated a National Monument of Guyana, and is located on Church Street in Georgetown Guyana.
