Averau, Cortina d'Ampezzo

The scenery here is beautiful. But this is one more place that is on Alta Via 1 bumper-to-bumper highway. The scenery worth the crowd, but I liked better the hikes that are not align to Alta Via 1.

This mountain looks impenetrable when you view it from the top of the chair lifts, but there is a great Via Ferrata route up which isnt too long and gives a real sense of achievement. It is just hard....  more
