  • Next to Independence Square, it is an old building on the corner of Raja Street and Market Street. Originally built as the headquarters of the Malay Union Railway in 1905, it was now exhibited a collection of various textiles and fabrics. The tour is free.

  • A second experience visiting the national textile Museum:) 10 Nov 2017 ago we came back to visit this place. A long time ago we were reviewing due to our busy:) Same with the first review, we loved the architecture of the building, really very good. Very good for photographs. Its location around Dataran Merdeka, a must-visit place for a stroll in Kuala Lumpur:)

  • Free entrance Cafe is currently closed (2018-12) Very nice clothes and jewellery. Informative video on a very small tv instead of the projection at the wall. Good to cool down because AC works but is not too cold. Nice to have but not on the must do list if you're in KL for short time stays. Good facilities
  • Batik and Textile museum gives some interesting insights into the culturally rich and mixed textile traditions in Malaysia. History and hands-on education. Interesting, especially for textile professionals etc.
