Sultan Abdul Samad Building, Kuala Lumpur
The photogenic Sultan Abdul Samad Building features a design strongly influenced by the Moorish and Mughal building styles. Designed by British architect A.C. Norman and completed in 1897, the structure initially housed several departments of the British colonial administration and later served as a federal court of independent Malaysia. The building overlooks a square where the national flag was hoisted for the first time after the country gained its independence. Today, a 95 m (312 ft) flagpole marks this historic spot. Sultan Abdul Samad Building Reviews
Un lugar para visitar, me pareció muy pintoresco y de fácil acceso. Tomamos unas hermosas fotos y recorrimos los alrededores. Buen paseo more »A place to visit, I found it very picturesque and easily accessible. We took some beautiful pictures and toured the surroundings. Good ride
残念! more »Sightseeing at the time of Ramadan is not close to the mosque in daytime, and after the sunset, there are a lot of restaurants crowded here and there, and consideration is necessary to shift the timing a little. This building also looks beautiful in the guidebook, but the tent is made long on the road between the independent square during Ramadan, and the scenery is NG though there is no person there in daytime. Sorry!
The Place at night is very cosy, fun to watch th children playing with light and toys. Everywhere soap bubbles been blown by small kids. Good place for a photo lover.
Nice area but a bit hot & sunny, better to go there on night time to see the River of Life
