  • Easy walk. Not accessible for wheelchairs. There’s several historical sites. The map was easy to follow and navigate. Entrance fee was 120 and we paid 150 to get from puerto Morelos to here by taxi. It takes 45 minutes to 1 hr to walk the whole thing. A little longer if you want to stop and look at things a lot. Bug spray is a must. The bugs are crazy and even with bug spray on we still got a lot of bites.
  • We went yesterday to visit the botanical garden which is more like a small jungle with wild birds, animals and flowers. We were attacked by many mosquitoes despite the repellant, so we recommend wearing bright and shoes with long socks. Some of the attractions were closed due to hurricanes that caused damage to the park. The receptionist, Fabian, was super nice and took the time to explain many things to us and gave us some inside tips about the region. Additionally we bought some very pretty birds painting drawn bei a local biology student (Sandra Lopez). Overall we spend a nice time at the garden, we saw a family of spider monkeys, some iguanas and few birds and lovely butterflies!
