  • Realistically nearly anyone could do the hike. We took 2 hours not including sitting down at the end of the trail. We did walk fast but shouldn't take more than 3 hours! Beautiful hills, 3 bridges that sway a bit, and bit windy. Loved every second of it. (go early so parking is easier)
  • A great track offering good views of the Mount Cook area. The track is very simple and has almost no elevation changes, meaning it is very easy and can be walked by anyone from kids to elderly. At the end of the track there is a great viewpoint to sit at, or you could go down a few steps to the Hooker Lake (be warned though, it can get pretty cold) It takes about 3 hours to do the track, including stopping for pictures and a nice picnic at the viewpoint. But it's definitely time well spent.
