Built in 1984, this modern structure dominates the landscape with its 60 m (192 ft) wide dome surrounded by 120 m (394 ft) tall minarets. Sloped exterior walls and calligraphy tiles next to the entrance gate give way to ornate crimson and gold carpets covering the floor of the mosque. As headquarters of Nigeria's Islamic community, the complex includes a library, religious school, and conference center. Gigantic breathtaking building! Marvellous building decorated and gold dome, definitely a trademark of the capital and the whole country! Has a shopping centre at the entrance level. Be prepared for a lot of walking! But it’s super worth it, wheelchair service is available for those who need it. The simply magnificent experience that’s worth visiting
