  • Took my money, have not delivered suit. Awaiting resolution from owner before completing this review and providing full history of the purchase. I am happy to update this review if I receive the suit as promised and agreed. Awful service and owners of business have repeatedly lied to me. I bought a suit on 18th June 2015 and I still don't have it. The whole experience has been dreadful. I looked on Google and other forums for a decent tailors in Singapore. Shivom Classics was one of the few that I found a positive review for and I was mislead by the single good review. When I got there the location had moved, which looked like a downgrade to a shared shop. Warning sign No.1. I was measured for a 3 button, single vent suit. I paid in cash upfront which was clearly a big error. I should have realised something was very wrong when i was not offered a second fitting. Warning sign No.2. I arrived to collect my suit on the last day of my trip and it was not ready. Having waited around for a few hours the suit finally arrived and it was a 2 button 2 vent suit which was nothing like what i ordered and nothing like the order ticket, which clearly showed a completely different design. To my horror the "master tailor" offered to convert it to a 3 button suit by adding an extra button, when I explained that it wasn't cut as a 3 button suit he looked a bit confused at my complaint. Warning sign No.3. After a long argument (and with a flight pending) I left the shop with the JOINT agreement that they would make a new jacket and post it to me, they even got me to fill in the shipping label to mislead me into believing this would actually happen. I refused to leave without the existing incorrect suit as i was beginning to think I was being scammed (and I was). I said I would return the existing jacket once i received the corrected item. After 3 weeks I called to chase progress and I was told the new jacket was in the workshop and would be at my home address within 2 weeks. I was told this by David Meradevadass who claimed to be the owner. After another 2 weeks I called again. This time a different person answered claiming he was the owner (the brother of David) and that David was just an employee who had made a mistake. He refused to send a new jacket, saying that I had received a jacket already. After a long argument I have gotten nowhere. They are now claiming that they will only fix the existing jacket, but I'm not prepared to send that back to them (at my cost) as I don't trust them not to simply add an extra button and claim it is now a 3 button suit. Its a shame, as the incorrect suit doesn't actually seem too bad, but it was nowhere near what was measured or agreed and I'm left having no suit that I can wear. As mentioned to the "owner" on the phone, If I do receive my jacket I'm happy to revise this review (and the others that I will post), but I suspect the reviews will stay as it looks to be a business that doesn't seem to care, and is simply out to fraudulently take money from its customers.
