The Singapore Sports Hub is a fully integrated sports, entertainment and lifestyle hub in Kallang, Singapore. Built in 2014 to host sporting and entertainment events, it replaced the former National Stadium on the recommendation of the then Community Development and Sports Minister Abdullah Tarmugi in 2001. His proposal was based on a Committee on Sporting Singapore report to promote a culture of sports in the city-state.
It is the first and largest sports facilities infrastructure Public-Private-Partnership (PPP) project in the world and Singapore's flagship PPP project of this nature. Following an Invitation to Tender by the then Singapore Sports Council in 2006, the consortium SportsHub Pte Ltd comprising four equity partners, InfraRed Capital Partners, Dragages Singapore, Cushman & Wakefield Facilities & Engineering, and Global Spectrum Asia, won the bid for the project on 19 January 2008. It was officially appointed on 25 August 2010 to design, build, finance and operate the Singapore Sports Hub for a period of 25 years.

Singapore’s crown jewel for major sporting events. It is a one-stop destination for all things sports. Catch a football match, run around the tracks, have a cooling swim, do some beach Volleyball in the sun... so much to do! Bring along your family and friends for a day of action and activity.
Its is a very big national project. Used to host one of the Singapore National Day Parade which was very expensive. Nice dome shape structure which can move and nice ventilation. This place can be improved if the grass was cut better. I like everything about it as it has benefited many people. Located at the side of Singapore which can cause some troubles if people want to travel there. It would have been better than the previous national stadium. There is a mall nearby where you can get food if you are hungry or bored. It is opened sometimes can closed sometimes for some events. They hosts a lot of events like the SEA Games and some concerts. It is the place where most concerts are hosts in Singapore and it must be expensive. But during most concerts, the domes are closed, even during some rock concerts. Can be recommended to friends and anyone who is bored.
