The Rink at JCube Reviews
Was the first time for the kids to skate in SG. Although quality of the ice is poor and also the rental skates were not perfect (needed to be sharpened) it was a fun experience. Gives you even a bit..... more »
Suitable for beginners or who don’t have any ice skating background as the space is not to huge but not that small either.. but do avoid to come on weekend as it will be crowded. Price is reasonable. more »
Fun activity for the kids. Can rent skates. Can rent seal, penguin or snowman for assisted skating. Bring own gloves and wear thicker socks. There are lockers available for one time rental use. Toilets are situated inside the area as well for convenience. Can get cold so advised to wear pants and bring a jacket.
Overall impression was very good. Nice service! Easy to get in with the auto machine. Ice was very good, smooth and no melting however I arrived after the resealing had taken place. Word of warning, bring your own skates if you can. True to form with all rinks the blades were blunt and incredibly uncomfortable also would only recommend if you intend to go in a group to socialise. Public session is not for actual skating. If the skates were in better condition I would give 4/4.5 rating.
