  • Came for a picnic and loved the beautiful location, attentive staff and the variety of things around. The picnic itself was rich and fresh - we were surprised by how good the bread was even. Although we asked for a pork free basket, we still got it and nobody mentioned it to us or offered to remove or replace. The location was nice and quiet, also supplying blanket and chairs, while enjoying some live music. The shops around are very very nice, so make sure to spend some time there too. Would definitely come back!
  • My husband and I stayed there for a couple of nights and it was so beautiful. The grounds are very well kept and truly immaculate. We were also there for the night market, which had lots of great food stalls and a nice band. The only thing I’d have to say that I was disappointed in, was the wine tasting. As I was expecting a bit more, but perhaps it’s because we are coming from Italy and the experience doesn’t even come close. I would work on improving this. And, last but not least, we were celebrating our honeymoon and everywhere we went it was our anniversary instead. Although we had a laugh about it, wish they had gotten it right since we did provide this information way beforehand. Overall, would come again. But the devil is in the details and I think that’s what prevents this place from being a 5 star worthy experience.
