Springfield Estate Winery, Robertson

We popped in for a wine tasting at Springfield while visiting Robertson on a recommendation from our host. I sincerely appreciated the fact that there were as many white wines for me to try as my husband had reds! We have never completed a wine tasting where we enjoyed almost every wine we tasted to such a point that we would purchase the wines, but Springfield is not like other wine farms! We ended up walking away with a purchase of 7 different wines! Wine tasting is served with complimentary olives which happened to also be one of the best we've ever tasted! Customer service was exemplary!

Simply fantastic!! An amazing reflection of the quality of wines one can expect from the Robertson Valley. Soft juicy tannins on the reds, delivering exceptional structure and taste or ‘mouthfeel’ in every sip. While the whites deserve a standing ovation - in my opinion at least. Amazing food wines for the foodies, Miss Lucy begs for seafood, while the Albariño is just mouthwateringly delicious, my wow-factor indeed! The olives deserve a mention too that are served during the tasting 🤤 The farm has a lovely authentic feel while the tasting room staff are friendly, knowledgeable and accommodating. #vivaspringfield
