Stillman Distillery, Paarl

If you love gin and a steampunk style then the Stillman Gin Distillery is a must visit in the greater Paarl area. We did a tasting of 3 of their gins with was accompanied by Barker Quin tonic (high quality tonic water) and we all really enjoyed it. Although we went with the "default" option for the gin tasting, you do have the option of selecting the gins you want to taste from their available range. The have an inside  seating area (decorated in the aforementioned steampunk style) as well as an outside seating area, but I recommend you sit inside as the outside area does not really have any shade - would recommend they put up some umbrellas. You are also able to order a glass of Gin&Tonic or any of their gin cocktails after your tasting to enjoy there. An added bonus is that right next door is one of my favorite breweries, Soul Barrel, which means that if you have some people in your group that enjoy beer more than gin, they can head over next door while you settle (g)in.

If you enjoy craft gins this is the place to go. Staff are knowledgable. They have a very nice selection of gins to taste (and buy).
