Molveno is a comune (municipality) in Trentino in the northern Italian region of Trentino-Alto Adige/Südtirol, located about 40km northwest of Trento.GeographyMolveno is located at the northern end of a 4km long lake, at the foot of the Brenta Group and the Paganella mountain.The Lake of Molveno, formed by a landslide about 4000 years ago, is the second largest in Trentino-Alto Adige, 3.3km2. Explore Molveno's surroundings by going to Schlern-Rosengarten / Sciliar-Catinaccio Nature Park (in Tiers), Palazzo Del Ben - Conti d'Arco in piazza Rosmini (in Rovereto) and Trento (Castello del Buonconsiglio Monumenti e Collezioni Provinciali, MUSE - Science Museum, &more). There's still lots to do: explore the activities along Lago di Molveno and get great views at Cima Paganella.

Start off your visit on the 9th (Fri): get to know the fascinating history of Merano Centro Storico, take in nature's colorful creations at I Giardini di Castel Trauttmansdorff, then relax and rejuvenate at Terme Merano, and finally glide through the air with a parasailing or paragliding tour.
