Santa Fe continuously ranks among the world's top holiday destinations, attracting visitors with its unusual combination of scenic beauty, rich history, cultural diversity, and high concentration of performing arts venues, fine restaurants, and interesting attractions.
Step off the beaten path and head to Kakawa Chocolate House and Absolute Nirvana Spa & Gardens. Give yourself a bit of retail therapy at Nedra Matteucci Galleries and Santa Fe Farmers Market. There's lots more to do: indulge your senses at some of the top wineries in the area, make a trip to Canyon Road, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Loretto Chapel, and do a tasting at Estrella Del Norte Vineyard & Tasting Room.

Hartford to Santa Fe is an approximately 7.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or do a combination of train and bus. Traveling from Hartford in December, plan for little chillier nights in Santa Fe, with lows around 22°F. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 20th (Tue) early enough to drive to Albuquerque.

Albuquerque remains one of the state's secret jewels, as its tourist attractions are often overshadowed by the more popular holiday destination of Santa Fe.
Step off the beaten path and head to Routes Bicycle Tours & Rentals and Cibola National Forest. Step out of Albuquerque to go to Pueblo of Acoma and see Sky City Cultural Center & Haak'u Museum, which is approximately 1h 10 min away. There's still lots to do: indulge in some personalized pampering at some of the best spas, indulge your thirst for a good beer at Bow & Arrow Brewing Company, stop by Chocolate Dude, and learn about winemaking at Gruet Winery.
