The capital of Wales, Cardiff is a very green city indeed, boasting more green space per person than any other place in the country.
You'll find plenty of places to visit near Cardiff: Bath (Bath Abbey & The Roman Baths), Tetbury (Chavenage House & Highgrove Gardens) and Cheltenham (Spas & Boer War Memorial).
