Naples is the capital of the Italian region Campania and the third-largest municipality in Italy after Rome and Milan. Change things up with these side-trips from Naples: Vesuvio National Park (in Ottaviano), Pompeii (Villa dei Misteri & Lupanar) and Speed Boats Tours (in Salerno).
