For most people, any mention of Orlando immediately conjures up images of sprawling theme parks filled with characters plucked right out of popular animated movies.
Kids will enjoy Universal Orlando Resort and Universal's Islands of Adventure. Have a day of magic on the 6th (Mon) at Walt Disney World Resort. Have a day of magic on the 8th (Wed) at Magic Kingdom Park. The adventure continues: find something for the whole family at SeaWorld and test your problem-solving skills at popular escape rooms.

The adventure continues: look for all kinds of wild species at Key West Butterfly & Nature Conservatory, examine the collection at Mel Fisher Maritime Heritage Museum, steep yourself in history at Curry Mansion Inn, and take in nature's colorful creations at Audubon House & Tropical Gardens.

Marathon — 3 nights

A tiny city just 16 km (10 mi) long, Marathon is spread across several islands in the middle of the Florida Keys.
Attractions like Bahia Honda State Park and San Pablo Catholic Church make great kid-friendly stops. Venture out of the city with trips to Everglades National Park (Anhinga Trail, Gumbo Limbo Trail, &more). There's still lots to do: look for all kinds of wild species at National Key Deer Refuge, stroll through Sombrero Beach, see the interesting displays at Crane Point Museum & Nature Center, and see some colorful creatures with a scuba or snorkeling tour.

The northernmost island of the Florida Keys, Key Largo provides stunning scenery, a number of watersports opportunities, and plenty of areas to relax on vacation.
On the 16th (Thu), observe the fascinating underwater world at Island Dolphin Care, look for all kinds of wild species at Florida Keys Wild Bird Rehabilitation Center, then cast your line with Florida Keys Flats Fishing, and finally immerse yourself in nature at John Pennekamp Coral Reef State Park.

Florida’s mecca of fun in the sun, the lively tropical metropolis of Miami is one of the world’s top vacation spots.
On the 17th (Fri), examine the collection at Vizcaya Museum and Gardens, then take in nature's colorful creations at Fairchild Tropical Botanic Garden, and then have fun and explore at Miami Children's Museum. Get ready for a full day of sightseeing on the next day: tour the pleasant surroundings at Shark Valley Visitor Center, then take a stroll through Espanola Way, and then wander the streets of Lincoln Road.
