South Tyrol's capital, Bolzano, has been named the Italian city with the highest quality of life.
Get out of town with these interesting Bolzano side-trips: Merano (Merano Centro Storico, Tappeiner Promenade, &more). Urtijëi is a town of 4,637 inhabitants in South Tyrol in northern Italy. Change things up with these side-trips from Ortisei: Sass Pordoi (in Pozza di Fassa), Val Contrin (in Alba di Canazei) and Val di Funes (in Funes).
