Experience small-town Bali in Ubud, an atmospheric town surrounded by small settlements, farms, and rice paddies.
Head to Threads of Life and Five Art Studiofor plenty of shopping. Step out of the city life by going to Sacred Monkey Forest Sanctuary and Fusion Freedive and Spearfishing. Explore the numerous day-trip ideas around Ubud: Mason Elephant Park (in Tegalalang) and Taman Ayun Temple (in Mengwi). An island holiday in Gili Trawangan offers access to the largest of the three Gili Islands located off the main coast of Lombok.
On the 6th (Fri), get outside with Paddle Gili, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at Masjid Agung Baiturrahman, and then make a trip to Surf Point Bongkas. Here are some ideas for day two: stroll through Gili Trawangan Turtle Hatchery and then identify plant and animal life at Wildlife Areas.
