Learn about the first encounters and a historical clash of civilizations by exploring the shrines and monuments dedicated to the Spanish explorer Fernando Magellan and Lapu Lapu, the city's eponymous hero who defeated him.
Do some cultural sightseeing at Yap Sandiego Ancestral House and Basilica del Santo Nino. Take a break from the city and head to Nalusuan Island Resort and Marine Sanctuary and Scuba & Snorkeling. All of 7 km (4.3 mi) long, the island of Boracay remains an idyllic destination drawing beach-goers from around the world.
Get in touch with nature at White Beach and Scuba & Snorkeling. You'll explore the less-touristy side of things at Balinghai Beach and Mangrove Nursery. There's much more to do: stroll through Yapak Beach (Puka Shell Beach), kick back and relax at Diniwid Beach, browse the different shops at E Mall, and relax and rejuvenate at some of the best spas.

You can do a combination of taxi, flight, and ferry from Lapu Lapu to Boracay in 3.5 hours. Alternatively, you can do a combination of bus and ferry. While traveling from Lapu Lapu, expect little chillier days and about the same nights in Boracay, ranging from highs of 32°C to lows of 28°C. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 13th (Sun) to allow time to travel to Coron.

Coron, Busuanga Island

Coron tourism has developed around its dive spots, with coral reefs and 10 preserved Japanese underwater shipwrecks to explore.
Get in touch with nature at Scuba & Snorkeling and Coral Garden. Eschew the tourist crowds and head to Coron Bay and Banul Beach. The adventure continues: head off the coast to Banana Island, contemplate the waterfront views at Kayangan Lake, and look for all kinds of wild species at Sunken Japanese Wrecks.

Getting from Boracay to Coron by combination of ferry and flight takes about 3 hours. Other options: do a combination of ferry and car. Wrap up your sightseeing on the 16th (Wed) early enough to travel to El Nido.

A convenient place to stay when exploring the island, the city of Puerto Princesa sits on the coast in the center of the landmass.
Get in touch with nature at Sabang Beach and Nagtabon Beach. Step off the beaten path and head to Scuba & Snorkeling and Palawan Special Battalion WW2 Memorial Museum. There's still lots to do: see the vivid underwater world at Tubbataha Reef and get interesting insight from Sabang X Zipline.
