Belfast — 3 nights

A city with character, Belfast remains a great place for a leisurely exploration, as it is still relatively undiscovered by foreign tourists, who usually opt to visit Dublin instead.Kids will enjoy Giant's Causeway and City Hall. Venture out of the city with trips to Coast Rd (in Larne), Causeway Coastal Route (in Ballintoy) and The Dark Hedges (in Ballymoney). There's much more to do: steep yourself in history at Crumlin Road Gaol, see the interesting displays at W5, make a trip to Samson & Goliath cranes, and get a new perspective on nature at Ulster Museum.
For photos, reviews, more things to do, and tourist information, read our Belfast trip planner.
If you are flying in from Ireland, the closest major aiports are George Best Belfast City Airport, Belfast International Airport and Glasgow Prestwick Airport. In February, plan for daily highs up to 8°C, and evening lows to 3°C.
