Famous for being the birthplace of the Beatles, Liverpool is a vibrant city with an outstanding cultural heritage.
Chatsworth House and Metropolitan Cathedral of Christ the King Liverpool will appeal to history buffs. Museum-lovers will get to explore World Museum and Merseyside Maritime Museum. Explore Liverpool's surroundings by going to Mompesson’s Well (in Eyam) and Holy Trinity Parish Church (in Ashford-in-the-Water). There's still lots to do: take in the waterfront at Royal Albert Dock Liverpool, explore the different monuments and memorials at Liverpool Cathedral, contemplate the long history of Mendips - John Lennon Home, and examine the collection at The Beatles Story.
