Heart of Orange County

Anaheim's major attractions are its world-famous Disney entertainment complex, sports teams, and convention center.
Family-friendly places like Disneyland Park and Disney California Adventure Park will thrill your kids. You'll find plenty of places to visit near Anaheim: Dana Point (Dana Point Parasail & Dolphin & Whale Watching). Next up on the itinerary: make an unforgettable trip to Downtown Disney District, find something for the whole family at Knott's Berry Farm, and make a trip to Anaheim Packing District.

For other places to visit, maps, photos, and other tourist information, read Anaheim sightseeing planner.

Phoenix to Anaheim is an approximately 3-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. The time zone changes from Mountain Standard Time (MST) to Pacific Standard Time (PST), which is usually a -1 hour difference. Traveling from Phoenix in April, things will get slightly colder in Anaheim: highs are around 78°F and lows about 56°F. Cap off your sightseeing on the 11th (Sun) early enough to catch the flight back home.
