Lake George — 3 nights

A playground for America’s wealthy families, Lake George was nicknamed "Queen of the American Lakes." While these families often stayed in private country houses, a tourism industry built up around them in the early 20th century facilitated by two YMCAs.
You've added Parasailing Adventures, Hadley Mountain, Shelving Rock Falls, and other attractions to your itinerary. There's still lots to do: take an in-depth tour of Fort William Henry Museum.

To see more things to do, other places to visit, where to stay, and more tourist information, refer to the Lake George travel route planner.

Use the Route module to see travel options from your home to Lake George. In June, daily temperatures in Lake George can reach 77°F, while at night they dip to 54°F. Wrap up your sightseeing by early afternoon on the 7th (Tue) to allow enough time to drive to Albany.
