The capital of Lithuania, Vilnius, boasts an impressive medieval quarter--one of the continent's largest and a World Heritage Site with almost 2,000 historical buildings.
Kick off your visit on the 15th (Sat): pause for some serene contemplation at St John's church and then contemplate the long history of The House of Signatories. On the 16th (Sun), you'll have a packed day of sightseeing: get your game on at Plytines Kartodromas, contemplate in the serene atmosphere at St. Michael's Church (Sv. Mykolo Baznycia), then examine the collection at Palace of the Grand Dukes of Lithuania, then see the interesting displays at KGB Museum (Genocido Auku Muziejus), and finally step into the grandiose world of Presidential Palace.

St. Petersburg, Russia to Vilnius is an approximately 6.5-hour flight. You can also drive; or take a bus. Due to the time zone difference, you'll gain 1 hour traveling from St. Petersburg to Vilnius. In June, plan for daily highs up to 24°C, and evening lows to 12°C. Cap off your sightseeing on the 17th (Mon) early enough to catch the flight to Warsaw.
