Granada — 3 nights

The lakeside city of Granada has the look and feel of a historically important economic and political center, with grand colonial architecture, a unified look, and many cultural attractions.
Step out of Granada with an excursion to Apoyo in La Laguna de Apoyo--about 36 minutes away. The adventure continues: contemplate the geological forces at Mombacho, take in the architecture and atmosphere at Iglesia de La Merced, get a taste of the local shopping with Masaya Crafts Market, and examine the collection at ChocoMuseo Granada.

Start off your visit on the 24th (Fri): contemplate the geological forces at Volcan Concepcion and then admire the local landmark of Ojo de Agua. On the next day, explore the activities along Laguna Charco Verde and then head off the coast to Isla Ometepe.

Set in a crescent-shaped bay, San Juan del Sur has become known as a popular surfing spot and coastal holiday destination for Nicaraguan families and international visitors alike.
Start off your visit on the 26th (Sun): make a trip to Mirador del Cristo de la Misericordia and then enjoy the sand and surf at San Juan del Sur Beach.
