  • If you want to understand Ephesus, you should visit this museum. Here you can look at ancient idols very close. "But when they knew that he was a Jew, all with one voice about the space of two hours cried out, Great is Diana of the Ephesians." - Bible
  • Museum made in a good modern way. Very pleasant, interesting exposition. Would love to see more details on Artemis temple and in general about the reason. Would be really awesome to have audio guide that you can listen to from your phone (like in summer EU museums). To much history and details to grasp it just by looking - you are overloaded with visual info. Or maybe some video to get general history line of that place.
