Alton Towers Theme Park, Alton

Theme Park · Water / Amusement Park
England's largest theme park, Alton Towers Theme Park rarely disappoints visitors of any age. If you want your adrenaline to flow, hop on the Smiler, the world's first 14-loop roller coaster. Let go of gravity and fly under footpaths and past trees and rocks on Air. Get wet on Congo River rapids and ride the runaway mine train. Let the special effects of the 4-D cinema dazzle you, and view over 300 species of fish, including sharks and rays, at Sharkbait Reef. Bring your bathing suit if you plan to visit the waterpark here. There are cartoon-themed attractions for little ones, and you can book a room at one of the on-site hotels if you wish to spend the night. • Great family day out, enjoyable and so much to do and experience. Love each trip here for the thrills, only thing I would suggest is that people take their own food because the restaurants and food quarters are rather expensive, but I suppose that's to be expected. They do some fab deals on the ride photos as well, so you really can leave with some unforgettable memories of your day
  • Nemesis is hard to be topped, smiler is a classic and the park itself has so much character and more too it than any other park, really something for the whole family which Alton has always done best. Children friendly, a lot of attractions for the kids, many great thrill rides which are my favourite. The park is incredibly safe and the staff are great 100% recommend to go and the chances are you're going to want to go back.
