  • A small museum dedicated to a regiment with a big history. Hidden behind an empty building in the Cathedral Quarter, this place is definitely worth a visit if you are interested in military history.....  more

  • I wanted to visit the Museum with my grandchildren as my father had served in WW2. We found great difficulty finding it as it was poorly signed and behind a derelict building. After an hour we found the entrance at 12 noon only to find it locked up. I was deeply disappointed. No one will respond on the phone and the website said it was open. What a shame.
  • Its a small museum thats a bit hard to find as its behind a closed off building. Fortunately, there are signs pointing you to the right direction, so just follow them and you should arrive at the front. It's free to enter for all visitors. The musuem is very small. The exhibits are all in one room, mostly displaying world war 1 and 2 artifacts. There isn't much context given for most of the items shown, so unless you are a history buff or are lucky enough to get the owner to guide you, it might be quite boring to the average visitor. As a Malaysian, it is exciting to see that the Pingat Jasa Malaysia is shown here. Any Malaysians wanting to see this medal that is awarded to commonwealth soldiers can visit this place to have a look.
