A tremendous offering of thrill rides, family rides, shopping, eating, and other activities has made Blackpool Pleasure Beach one of the world's most popular amusement parks. Choose from ten roller coasters--five of which are wooden--and enjoy gentler theme rides through colorfully decorated scenes. Watch an entertaining illusion show and choose from six restaurants and cafes and 16 fast-food outlets. You can ice-skate in the on-site rink, try out one of the UK's most lavish miniature-golf courses, and play cutting-edge video games in six different arcades. If you plan on visiting other amusement parks in the UK, consider purchasing a pass for admission into multiple venues. Blackpool Pleasure Beach reviews
Visited twice this week: Saturday with friends and then today (Thursday) just as a couple. Saturday was really busy with long queues but we didn't mind because that's what you expect on a weekend... more »
Visited the Pleasure Beach on 25/04 as a group of four adults and one child. I thought the tickets were very expensive at £170 for us all. Other theme parks are cheaper and in more pleasant... more »
A great place especially for families. Don't need to go into the theme park and I find it is more peaceful and tranquil to just walk across the pier and promenade. Even if the weather is not sunny as long as not raining or too windy you can have a nice stroll against the backdrop of the Blackpool Tower.
Great price. Brilliant value for money with the number of rides available. Good location, beach, water park and cheap hotels immediately adjacent. Wide variety of food and drink outlets in the park even for vegetarians. Clean and tidy - even the toilets! Save extra money booking online in advance + rainy day guarantee. Short queue times everytime I've been even at different times throughout the year, never queued more than 20 minutes. Good selection of rides for children, adults and big thrill seekers. Good sized park with rides situated fairly close together so no need to trek miles from one to another. Fairly accessible for disabled guests or those with pushchairs too. Better quality than most rides and certainly better value for money than almost all Merlin attractions and theme parks.
