Take in the coastal views and unique installation at Crosby Beach, home to a collection of pieces by renowned artist Anthony Gormley. The sculpture series called "Another Place" consists of 100 iron men shaped after the artist's own body, all gazing out over the sea. Spread out across the beach, some stand knee- and waist-deep in the sand and covered in barnacles. You can stroll or ride a bike down the clean, wide beach, where residents often bring their dogs and children to play. For a bit of humor, you can do as the locals and dress one of the naked statues in a spare piece of clothing.
