  • What a place this is. If you go with the National Trust you will get the full experience. The stories, the creativity, the family life and even tragedy- it all went on here over the years. The comings and goings are well documented and the house was always full of people so there is literally always a story to be told. The house is very well preserved and looked after for the future, thanks to a special some'ono'. What she's doing for this house is genuinely out of love and respect. Kudos to her for that too
  • The National Trust tour also includes the teenage home of Paul McCartney. It is quite an amazing experience and provides fascinating and moving insight into the formative years at the very start of the Beatles. The tour guide was extremely knowledgeable and it felt quite a privilege to be part of one of the small groups being allowed to walk into the world of the teenage John Lennon.
