Create an itinerary including Speke Hall
Speke Hall stands as one of the finest examples of a wood-framed wattle-and-daub Tudor manor house. Start your visit with a walk around the manor to admire its architecture from various angles. Head inside to view the well-appointed interior, which showcases more Arts and Crafts furnishings than Tudor ones since the home's 19th-century restoration. Back outside, navigate the Victorian hedgerow maze and admire the colorful gardens. If you're more interested in the manor from the outside, you can purchase a ticket for the gardens and grounds only for a reduced price. Speke Hall is just one of the many highlights you can arrange to see using our , custom trip planner Edition.

  • We really enjoyed our visit to the house and gardens. There is a great play area and a fun maze that we got lost in! The facilities are great. The cafe provides all kinds of foods and drink but can be very busy at peak times. We took the scenic walk towards the beach and stopped to look at the planes taking off nearby. Plenty of parking and easy to access. The house was interesting and plenty of staff around to talk to. We waited to get into the house but not for too long. Overall a great day out for all the family and would highly recommend.
  • Beautiful grounds right next to the airport and the river. A good place for a short or medium walk. Very busy at the weekend. There is a maze and lovely kitchen garden. Great to spend time in the grounds and looking around Speke Hall itself is a bonus. Friendly guides in each room that engaged with the visiting children. The cafe is busy and the cream scones are home made and delicious. All in all a great day out
