In 2005, a new central entrance hall and a six-story atrium were added to World Museum. After you pass through this grand atrium, you'll find galleries filled with archaeological, ethnological, and scientific artifacts. Inside, the World Cultures gallery allows you to explore the world without leaving Liverpool. If strange creatures are your passion, then check out the Bug House. Admission to the attraction, and the in-house planetarium, is free. Inspirock's itinerary builder makes planning a Liverpool trip simple and quick.

World Museum reviews
We visited here mainly to see the Doctor Who exhibit which was brilliant to see the different props and costumes used in the show. The rest of the museum was nice too

This is hands down one of the best free museums that we’ve ever been to. Our children were both fascinated, even our pre-teen, which is more than unusual! They especially loved the Egyptian area. I...

Amazing museum. It is very well organized and has great exhibits. There are so many things to learn and see. The Egyptian and Dinosaur areas are my favorites, but they all are truly great. A lovely member of staff gave me a souvenir penny out of her own pocket, as I didn't have any change. I was blown away by the kindness of staff in the UK. It was a wonderful experience that I would recommend to anyone visiting Liverpool.
A wonderful, educational experience. We really enjoyed the Planetarium cinema experience. A well designed building with good views. The cafe area has very nice decor too. However I feel drinks in take away cups and food which doesn't look very interesting, which let it down a bit.
