Quirky and madly popular little pub in Gothic former waterworks building... great real ales and ciders. Cosy and friendly atmosphere. Countless antique curios, even virtually all the furniture is for sale! Lots of character. Seating a real squeeze, but that customers are assured is all part of the fun.

This pub is fabulous. The team here are so friendly and Dave was amazing at welcoming customers and finding them seats. Encouraging groups of people to talk to each other too. The range of beers is superb and the pork pies looked amazing. A lovely atmosphere, we will be back at our next Rye visit.
