  • A very well preserved site of Neolithic history, detailing living arrangements from 4000 years ago. Admission price includes an audio guided tour, which was very helpful in explaining what you could see. It is located next to the Sumburgh Hotel, who, helpfully, make their facilities available to Jarlshof visitors. They also do nice snacks and meals from 12.00. It is a very interesting site, and offers many photographic opportunities.
  • Fascinating place, audio guide is excellent. Would be 5 stars were it not for the unsmiling, gruff man at reception! Not a good meet and greet experience, especially for all the tourists coming every day.
