  • Fantastic experience, excellent value, amazing service, highly recommended. The walking is about an hour and three quarters. There are no opportunities to sit down but the pace is very gentle - my 81 year old father coped well with the tour. The fabulous lunch in the Orchard Restaurant is a worthwhile addition and a chance to take a break.
  • I believe a review should be fair highlighting the good, and, if necessary - the not so good. The gardens are a delight. I loved them! However - the guide, pleasant, polite and knowledgeable as she was - tended to be a little impatient. She tended not to allow some members of the group to catch up, causing them to miss out on information which she had already started to impart to those at the front. This was a group largely, but not exclusively, consisting of over 60s. I thoroughly enjoyed my visit - and highly recommend it for the gardens alone. However - the guides are absolutely vital, no tour can proceed without them - understandably so, for security reasons if nothing else. Ultimately FAR more good than bad - unquestionably. But I felt compelled to mention my concern. I thank His Royal Highness and His wonderful team for an inspirational experience.
