    Given it was Halloween and £15 pp I had expected more of a creepy tour around the cobbled streets of York. However we just moved to a couple of different spots beside the Minster. Mad Alice was great....  more »

    Mad Alice was brilliant! Not just a tour of ghosts stories, Mad Alice was full of historical facts about York. We had a great group of only seven or so so it felt very intimate and we could easily get into the small streets without a fuss. Would highly recommend. Look out for the small placard in front of the college for the tour start location. The other ghost tours we passed had such large numbers I’m surprised they could hear the host and possibly struggled trying to fit everybody down the small gates.
