  • I've been to a good number of museums and this is among one of the best museums I've ever been to! I've always had a keen interest in folk art and mythology and had no idea such a museum existed until I did the research for my trip to NM. At first, I assumed there was only one (very impressive) room of collections from around the world so, I took my own sweet time until my husband gently reminded me that there were other rooms to check out! And I had already spent more than an hour in this first room. Needless to say, I had to go through most other exhibits a little faster since we had limited time on our hands. I did enjoy the Japanese mythology/horror exhibit a lot! The #mask exhibit was very cool too. On the whole, I was incredibly happy that I visited this place and hope to come back another time to re-experience it with ample time to do so. A must see for those who love mythology/miniature models/folk art and enjoy experiencing different cultures through this thematic lens.
  • What a cool museum!! A friend and I took our babies here and walked around. There’s a ton of things to look at. So many miniature scenes. I loved it. It’s a great place to take kids. Plus there’s an awesome gift shop and a museum cafe nearby. I will be coming back a lot!
